The world's first reduced hazard zone laser cleaning machine.
The ELASER-RHZ is our pioneering Reduced Hazard Zone cleaning system — engineered and built in the UK, and the only laser cleaner of its kind anywhere in the world.
Ordinary industrial cleaning demands a sealed-off, evacuated area before anyone can start; RHZ technology collapses that hazard zone to a fraction of the size, so cleaning can happen in open workshops, mixed-use facilities and public-facing settings more effectively.
A single operator lifts away rust, paint, coatings and ingrained contamination across almost any material, using laser light alone — no chemicals, no abrasive grit, no water. Just plug it in and clean.

Laser cleaning removes the contaminant with minimal substrate loss, so you don't clean away what matters.
Adjustable power tunes to each layer, so one machine lifts everything from light oxides to thick coatings.
A focused, pulsed laser beam is aimed at the surface. Each pulse carries just enough energy to vaporise the unwanted layer — rust, paint, coating or residue — and flash it away.
A very wide range. Because the power is fully adjustable, one machine moves from delicate work — soiling, light oxides, graffiti on stone and masonry — right up to heavier weld scale and industrial coatings
Yes, by default our laser cleaning systems emit class 4 radiation due to the high power and energy pulses required for effective cleaning.
However, we have developed advanced engineering controls that ensure access to any radiation greater than class 1 is not possible.

Laser cleaning doesn't use any chemicals or abrasive media, so there's:
Very little. Running on electricity, there are no abrasives, chemicals, or other consumables to buy in or dispose of.
Yes, we do.
Yes. In-house engineering is one of our core strengths, and we regularly adapt systems around a customer's specific parts, environment or process. If your requirement isn't met by the standard configuration, let us know.
There are three.
This is the "eye-safe" (RHZ) model, built for enhanced safety.
There's also the standard handheld system for general portable cleaning, and AutoLASE: a robot-mounted version for automated production.
Almost certainly - we deliver our machines to customers all across the globe.
"Eye-safe" is the shorthand, but the accurate term is Reduced Hazard Zone (RHZ): it minimises the zone that you need to operate the machine. This makes it possible to use effectively for wider applications, such as in public spaces.

Components
Everything you need is packed into one compact, lightweight unit you can wheel straight to the job.
No compressor, no water supply, no consumables to haul around: just plug it in and a single operator is ready to clean.

Elaser-RHZ uses our patented "eye-safe" technology to minimise the hazard zone required, making it viable for more applications.

A sub-3 kg handheld scanner with a 2-D galvanometer and 10 m/s max scan rate.

Compact and wheeled, and light enough for one person to move unaided — roll it from the workshop out to site and on to wherever the next job is.

Dial power anywhere from 0–100% on the touchscreen to match each surface, with individual user logins keeping access secure.

A delivery cable up to 50 m long brings the beam to far-off or awkward spots, so the unit can stay put while you reach the work.
Applications
Your permanent cleaning solution.
Buy one machine and use it for almost any application.

Strip residue, release agents and build-up from moulds and tooling — in place, no disassembly.

From pre-weld prep on the line to rust and paint removal in the bodyshop.

Clean plant, equipment and infrastructure on site — nothing to mask off, no media to clear up.

Clean moulds, vents and vulcanisation residue without abrasives or mould wear.

Precise surface prep and component cleaning to tight tolerances.

Lift soiling, paint and corrosion from stone, metal and masonry — gentle on the original surface.

A portable system and full operator training to launch your own laser-cleaning service.

No chemicals or abrasives to keep purchasing.
A smaller hazard zone for faster setup and less downtime.
Gentler on the surface, so less rework.
The savings add up on every job.

Tell us about your requirements — a relevant specialist will come back with all the answers within 1 working day.
